Itinerary
Morning Pickup from hotel lobby by bus/van/car, drive north via Ayutthaya, Thailand rice bowl, enjoy scenic of green paddy. Visit Bang Pa In, the summer palace built by King Rama IV. Picture the contrasting buildings and surrounding temples inspired by European, Chinese and Thai designs. Depart to Visit the most important of the ruined temples in the historical park, Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, the most important temple within The Royal Palace compound. The major construction was the high pagoda, or prangs which was destroyed by Burmese invaders. Continue to Wat Maha That, then go to visit Wat Lokayasutharam, house of the huge outdoor reclining Buddha. Drive to Wat Na Phra Mane, the only temple who was not destroyed during Burmese invasion.
Afternoon Cruise back to Bangkok via the mighty Chao Phraya River onboard the air-conditioned River Sun boat; taking in scenes of everyday Bangkok life as well as significant Thai landmarks. A delicious Thai buffet lunch will be served for you to enjoy at your leisure, followed by tea and coffee. All along the enchanting Chao Phraya River, you will experience the sights of some of Bangkok's people, their homes, their work and their general daily lives.
